Local Government Bulletin

You may be aware that Unison members in local government have voted to take strike action over this year’s pay rise. Unison hasn’t yet decided what industrial action to take or when but as they do I will issue advice.

GMB members voted 4-to-1 to accept the pay offer (2.45% with 3.3% for the lowest paid) and so we will not be going on strike. However, GMB will look to give as much support as we can to striking colleagues because we all believe Council workers deserve more.
