their grave concerns regarding the announcement that the Children’s Ward would be closing

The Birmingham City Council’s announcement of £320 million worth of cuts over four years,
with £212m in the first year is devastating. The cuts proposed could set Britain's second largest city back decades, with 7,000 public-sector workers within Birmingham set to lose their jobs because of the drastic cuts to the budget.
