GMB TRAINING COURSE PROGRAMME JANUARY - SEPTEMBER
2010
All new Representatives must attend the 2 day GMB@Work training
before booking any further courses. From 2010 the GMB@Work 2 day training will be incorporated into the 10 day Induction course. The GMB@Work course will commence for 2 days followed by the 8 further one day a week Induction.
You will have a choice
of the following GMB Offices to attend these courses.
Once you have completed the Induction course you will have the opportunity
to attend the follow on courses which are listed below. Please see the attached guide for all the courses
we offer. Ideally
these should be completed in the following order:
- INTERMEDIATE
INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
- ADVANCED HEALTH & SAFETY
- GMB HEALTH & SAFETY REPRESENTATIVES DIPLOMA IN HEALTH & SAFETY (IOSH)
Please note all existing representatives are invited
to attend any of the above courses. If you would just like a refresher course or have not had any training
recently then please complete the attached application form.

- Starting time for all courses will
be 9.30 am to 4.00 pm
- Your earliest reply is appreciated as places are limited and the demand is anticipated
to be high.
