GMB TRAINING COURSE PROGRAMME JANUARY - APRIL 2009
All new Representatives must attend
the 2 day GMB@Work training before booking any further courses.
This term the GMB@Work training course will
be held at Halesowen Regional Office, Tewkesbury Office, Stafford Office and Tamworth Office. Please see the dates being offered on the application form.
After completing the GMB@Work training all
new Reps will have the opportunity to attend the Induction course. There is a
choice of one of the following two venues to attend.
Once
you have completed the Induction course you will have the opportunity to attend the follow on courses which are listed below. Please see the attached guide for all the courses we offer.
Ideally
these should be completed in the following order:
- INTERMEDIATE INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
- ADVANCED HEALTH & SAFETY
- GMB HEALTH & SAFETY REPRESENTATIVES DIPLOMA IN HEALTH & SAFETY (IOSH)
Please note all existing Reps are invited
to attend any of the above courses. If you would just like a refresher course
or have not had any training recently then please complete the attached application form.

- Starting time for all courses will be 9.30 am to 4.00 pm
- Your earliest reply is appreciated as places are limited and the demand is anticipated to be high.
