Pauline Hinks
Pauline is a Senior Organiser based in Tamworth with responsibilities for the Public Services
Section. During her time as a full time officer with the GMB Pauline has held responsibilities across all sections of
the union including a year working with the regional organising team. Pauline has worked for the GMB in one capacity
or another for nearly 20 years and during that time has enjoyed a varied and challenging career from legal officer to senior
organiser. She has been an active member of the Labour Party and has served a period of office as regional representative
on the National Policy Forum, along with membership of the TUC women's committee for a number of years. Pauline has
also led the regional policy on domestic violence as a workplace issue

Dominic Hinks
Dominic is an Organiser and got involved with the GMB through it's Young Members Section as
the Tamworth Young Members Officer. He secured an Officer position after attending Manchester Metropolitan
University and now has responsibility for GMB members within ASDA, Wilkinson's
and DHL.

Mohammed
Khalik
Mo has been working for the GMB since January 2005, starting his career at the Regional Office
working mainly in public services and was an organiser in the organising team. Mo moved to the Tamworth office in September 2007 and
is currently working as an Organiser with responsibilities mainly in the Private Sector. He previously worked at
Dunlop Tyres Ltd in Erdington for 14 years, where he was a Senior Shop Steward. Mo also has an interest in Politics and is

Amanda Gearing
Amanda is an Organiser based within the Tamworth Team and is responsible for Organising particularly in Commercial/Public
Services. She is committed to raising the standards for low paid workers in the social care industry and works closely
with members in Southern Cross and other private care homes. She is also Youth Officer for the region, where she is passionate
about organising the youth of the union in order to secure the next generation of Trade Unionists. Amanda came to us
from another Union
where she worked in both Admin and Campaigns and also held the position of PCS Midlands Region Shop Steward. She was also
active in local campaigns against academies campaigning alongside teachers unions, she feels strongly about preserving public

Stuart Richards
Stuart was appointed as an Organiser in July 2007, and works with members in a number of
local authorities, public sector organisations and private companies. He previously worked as a Teaching Assistant in a school
for children with special educational needs in the north of Solihull. He was elected as a Workplace Representative at the school in 2000. In 2005 he
