The GMB has launched a Charter for Classroom Based Staff within the West Midlands, which sets out our demands for pay, terms and conditions for members working within schools.

We are calling on the Government to introduce national pay scales, national conditions of employment and national career structures.

The launch took place at the recent School Support Staff conference, which was held in Birmingham on July 6.
